Wednesday Nights

Valuing Others - What God thinks of you and you think of others.

Junior High is all about trying to find where you fit in. The groups you belong to are how others decide what to think about you. We are exploring what the Bible has to say about how we treat others. With stories ranging from The Good Samaritan to Dr. Seuss' The Sneetches, we are trying to see our peers the same way Jesus does.

TXT: Getting God's Message (click here see the info page for this series)

The Bible is the source of everything we believe as Christians. It's God's story, His love-letter to us, a manual for life, and a source of great inspiration and amazing insight. It's the bestselling book of all time, is published in hundreds of languages, and continues to be a the place where people turn in times of need. It is undeniably the most impressive and important book ever written. With all that going on, it's easy to see why the Bible is often also intimidating and can seem confusing. So NSL is starting a new 6-week series on March 30th to go over some Bible Basics and learn about this amazing book, and God's message that it holds.

Monday Nights - The Table

The Table is an open forum which usually has no central theme each week. The conversation moves and shifts to fit what our teens are going through each week. It's the most life-driven ministry we have in NSL. However, from time to time we do pick a topic for the night. Upcoming topics include:

  • Sex & Dating (February 18)
  • Church History (how we got where we are and where we're going)
