2008 Prayer Focus
Children - That God will bless and protect Northwood children and use our ministry to reach other children in the northwest suburbs and that each of us will become more like children as we follow Jesus.
Finances - That God will grow within us the spiritual values of contentment, simplicity and generosity.
Africa - That God will help Northwood Church share the love of Jesus Christ with the people of Africa and lead us to respond to three major challenges this continent faces: HIV/AIDS pandemic, hunger and refugees.
America - That leaders elected to public office in 2008 will lead and govern with justice, mercy and humility.
Marriages - That God will strengthen marriages and families within Northwood Church.
Intercessors
Northwood wants to be a church committed to being on its knees before God. Our Intercessors receive a weekly email update with current prayer requests. Submit your prayer request on the Get Connected tab of this website or on your information card during Sunday Worship services. All prayer requests remain confidential.
Resources

Prayer Point
Prayer is a vital part in the life of every church and Christian. Here at Northwood, we offer a way to emphasize the importance of prayer in each worship service. A ministry called Prayer Point is designated by a Prayer Point banner in the worship area. Prayer Point is staffed with prayer partners at the end of each service and a quiet area to pray. Anyone desiring prayer or an opportunity to share a praise is encouraged to join our prayer partners at Prayer Point.
