About Worship Arts

Worship Arts Opportunities

"Let everything that has breath praise the Lord."  Psalm 150:6

Worship Team  - vocalists and instrumentalists who serve as “lead worshippers” in our Sunday Celebrations. They lead us into the presence of God not only using their musical gifts and talents, but by demonstrating what it means to worship God with their lives. Worship Team members are auditioned, sing on rotating teams, and rehearse on Wednesday evenings.

Tech Team - the purpose of the technical team is to provide high quality audio and visual support to the Sunday morning worship service.  Positions available include:

Sound Technicians prepare the worship center, handle sound checks, monitor sound quality during the service and break down equipment after service.

Media Technicians put together the media presentation (currently using PowerPoint) with the master database of songs and sermon notes and run the media presentation during the service and break down equipment after the service.

Technical Assistants work with the sound technician in preparing the worship center, setup non-sound portions of the worship center, operate lights and projector as needed during the service and break down equipment after the service.

For more information contact Tech Team Leader Sherwin Vischer at 763-557-0144.

Drama - Actors (male & female of all ages), directors, or writers who help us learn the truths about God and life through story, metaphor, readings, and poetry. Actors are auditioned and serve as needed.

Decorating and Design a team of decorators and designers that helps with our special events, seasonal services, dramas, and other weekly creative needs. These team members have an eye for interior design, a love for beautiful spaces and presentation, and enjoy stage design and prop-building.

Visual Art – a team of visual artists (painters, photographers, sculptors, graphic designers, etc.) that give us a glimpse of God through images and visual creations. We use this visual art on the web site, in our celebration services, and plan to have thematic exhibits tying in with message series or seasons.

Video – videographers, editors, directors, writers. These are the filmmakers that tell the stories, record our history, and give us a glimpse of the real world.
